Whoosh! The wind is blowing the rain so hard, that you can barely see what’s in front of you. Crash! The water around you tosses the tiny boat you’re on back and forth. Your friends who are with you are terrified, and they shout “We’re going to sink!“ as the thunder drowns out their voices.

This is most likely what the disciples felt like in today’s message. Pretty scary if you ask me! For the disciples, it was a hopeless situation… but what they forgot was that they have the most POWERFUL being in the world with them in their boat. With Him on your side, what is there to fear? After all, even in the storm, Jesus still is Lord and Ruler over all!
